Around the Parish

Sunday Services are at 8:30 am and 10 am.

Sunday School is back in regular session. The younger grades meet in the Sunday School Room in the church office wing. The older class meets in the Albury Room. We're using new curriculums from Sparkhouse for both levels this year. We're looking forward to an exciting journey.

Choir: Choir rehearsals are now on Thursday at 7:45 pm. No experience is necessary to join the choir. If you would like to add your voice, speak to our choir director, Gloria, or any choir member.

The Holy Cross FISH Wish Tree: This Christmas Season we again have a FISH Wish Tree. FISH operates in North Plainfield under the auspices of Holy Cross. It provides food deliveries on an emergency basis to those in need. FISH receives phone calls through the church office throughout the year from Somerset Social Services and directly from families who have completely run out of food in their homes. FISH volunteers contact the families and personally bring them the supplies to help them through those short-term difficulties when they cannot get help from any other source. It also supplies Thanksgiving baskets to families during the holidays. There is a FISH Wish Tree in Spooner Hall hung with envelopes for monetary donations to FISH. Any amount will be appreciated and will greatly help support this very needed and respected program. To participate, simply select an envelope, insert your donation, write your name on the outside, seal it and place it in the Wish Box which will be next to the tree. Then select an ornament from the basket to replace the envelope on the tree. The more our tree shines, the more people we have helped! The FISH Wish tree will be in Spooner Hall from December 11th through December 18th.

Ginny's next Soup Sale is on December 17.

The next Neighbors Feeding Neighbors is on December 31 at 12:30pm.

F.I.S.H: There are bins for donations to F.I.S.H. and forms with their most needed items by the ledge. Please double bag your donations. Thanks!
